Meet Mia

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

Hi, guys! I have been quite busy the past couple days with our new puppy.  Meet Mia. She is an 8 week old labrador retriever and is full of energy.  I cannot keep up with her.  Everyone always told me that having a puppy is like having a baby and comes with so much responsibility but I never believed them.  I'm not gonna lie, there have been a few times in the past couple days where I told my boyfriend we are getting rid of her and I have gotten extremely stressed out.  Hahaha.  Keep in my mind I've only had her two days. She is a handful.  Every move I make she is nipping at my heels, making me trip over her and using the bathroom in the floor before its even possible to get her out the door.  Last night I put her in the floor to sleep and she decided she was going to roam around and find things to chew on. So, I put her in the bathroom and she cried, screamed and pawed at the door.  After a few minutes, of course Matt gets up and gets her and puts her in the bed beside him (spoiled already).  I told him that he is making a big mistake.  In the small amount of time I've been writing this post, she has spilled Mountain Dew on the wall and peed in the floor. I am dealing, praying it gets better and trying my hardest to enjoy her puppy stage.  Keep your eyes out for a puppy for sale.  Totally kidding.. Or am I? Hope you are all having a great week. If you have any tips for new puppies leave me a comment below! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Seriously.

xoxo,

Brooke
